2 Example 1: employer & PFO Eversheds international law firm: a national corporate partnership with Barnardo’s since 2009 Have not engaged them directly with Payroll Giving Yet, in 2011/12 have recruited donors online via Payroll Giving in Action worth £2,500 annually

3 Example 2: employer, PFO & charity in collaboration Royal Mail Group: already worked successfully with Payroll Giving in Action and Charities Trust All four parties formed a key ‘strand’ of the overall charity partnership and met several times a year Since June 2008, recruited 1,865 donors with equivalent annual value in excess of £100k

4 Example 3: employer & charity Numerous examples at Barnardo’s given the long history of raising funds direct from pay – Many of which are post-tax giving or Winners Club Work with corporate partners on bespoke initiatives: either pre-tax where a PFO isn’t involved (e.g. KPMG) or workplace lotteries with deductions from pay
