1 Monday 9/10/12 RAP –List your top 3 Presidents from the video on Friday. –I think the Articles of Confederation was / was not a good plan of government for the United States because... –What was the Great Compromise? –What was the three-fifths compromise? (Ch. 4.1-last two pages.) Objective: SWBAT describe parts of the Constitution, understand the roles of each body of government, and understand the importance of the addition of the Bill of Rights.

Baron de Montesquieu = French – separate and balanced powers of the government. Prevent one from becoming to strong.

Objective: SWBAT Discuss impact of 9/11. –Understand requirements of our government. –Explain the need for the first 10 amendments to the Constitution. –Understand how the Bill of Rights impacts your life through illustration.
