9 I.3 HEIs: IT teaching materials  MOE organized 1200 kinds of national-level planned teaching materials in the tenth five year (newly organized and revised)  National Informationization Expert Inquiry board organized compiling a series of teaching materials on IT and information society.  Introduce the overseas outstanding computer teaching material vigorously ( 200 kinds of translation)

10 I.4 T raining system: IT Social training  About 200,000 training organization and 250,000 specialties engaged in the training work. 1,800,000 people receiving each kind of computer training  2,000,000 students participate in computer level test by The Ministry of Education Test Center Organization's every year  The transnational-enterprise certificate test (such as the Microsoft expertise authentication, SCO qualification authentication, CISCO qualification authentication); The domestic-enterprise training authentication (such as the Beida Qingniao, Qinghua Wan Bo, Dalian Hua Xin and so on)  Increase?

11 II. The problems and challenges  Fund investment is insufficient.  The teachers’ structure is unreasonable.  There is a big distance between the talent's training localization of target and the actual industrial demand.  The students’ practical ability and innovation ability is insufficient, and the international compettivity is not strong.  Informationization education ought to be further popular.  Fund investment is insufficient.  The teachers’ structure is unreasonable.  There is a big distance between the talent's training localization of target and the actual industrial demand.  The students’ practical ability and innovation ability is insufficient, and the international compettivity is not strong.  Informationization education ought to be further popular.

12 II. 1 Quantity vs. quality  Fund investment is insufficient.  The teachers’ structure is unreasonable.
