5 ISU Extension and Outreach Community and Economic Development Iowa Retail Initiative: Advocates Identify 5-10 retailers within each of the 5 Regions Quarterly online discussions Share feedback at ISU Stakeholders Link identified needs to ISU resources

6 ISU Extension and Outreach Community and Economic Development Iowa Retail Initiative: Train the Trainer Target delivery date: Spring 2015 CEEDs, Chambers of Commerce and Economic Developers 5 regional training sessions plus a Statewide symposium during Summer 2015 Create an educational offering for local use, dealing with Retail design and marketing issues.

Student work will address access to the retail locations, space planning, retail identity, visual merchandising, fixtures, and code compliancy.
