Chief Examiner’s Checklist CONCLUSION, EVALUATIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS A review of the design process should be considered explaining how the final outcome was achieved and then how well this product meets the design specification. Explain how well the process proceeded and any changes which would be made with the current knowledge when planning the work.
2
CRITICAL ANALYSIS An objective analysis of both the design process and the final outcome. TESTING AND CONSIDERATION OF INDUSTRIAL PRACTICE Using the testing done against the specification, with third party feedback and informed consideration of Industrial Practice making judgements of final outcome.
3
EXTENSION OF THE PRODUCT Use the Product Life Cycle model to look at ways of extending the life of your product. Think about size, flavour, nutritional value, budget, etc. You are asked to think about improvement as well as extending the product.

TESTING AND CONSIDERATION OF INDUSTRIAL PRACTICE 1.Comprehensive testing strategies throughout the work including, where relevant, comments of others and considerations of Industrial Practices used to make perceptive and critical judgement. 2.Good testing strategies throughout the work including, where relevant, comments of others and considerations of Industrial Practices used to make judgements. 3.Reasonable testing strategies throughout the work including, where relevant, comments of others and considerations of Industrial Practices used to make judgements. 4.Some testing strategies throughout the work including, where relevant, comments of others and considerations of Industrial Practices used to make judgements. 5.Limited testing strategies throughout the work including, where relevant, comments of others and considerations of Industrial Practices used to make judgements.
