1. Vibrant WORSHIP Believing that we have been created to worship God, we value vibrant corporate worship, making it the center of our life together as a community of faith. As we gather for worship, we hear and respond to the preaching of the Word, we celebrate the sacraments of baptism and communion, we sing, and we pray. Opportunity is regularly provided for anointing with oil for God’s healing and restoration to wholeness.

2. Inclusive OUTREACH Accepting Christ’s Great Commission, as his disciples, we value outreach in our community and around the world. We seek to reach as many people as we are able to with the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, by whatever means possible.

Inclusive OUTREACH Though our resources are finite, we seek to partner with fellow Christians in our community, fellow Nazarenes on the Dallas District, and the global Church of the Nazarene in its various ministries around the world to fulfill the mission of reaching lost people wherever or whomever they may be.

4. Active RECONCILIATION Having experienced God’s reconciling grace through Jesus Christ, and accepting God’s call to a ministry of reconciliation, we value the ongoing, active work of reconciliation in our world. We believe that all humanity is in need of being reconciled to God and to one another.

5. Active RECONCILIATION We believe our life together as a community of faith should model God’s power to bring reconciliation and we seek to demonstrate that by being intentionally intergenerational and multicultural. We also will work to break down barriers, both personal and societal, that prevent God’s work of reconciliation in our church and in the world. We seek to live grace-filled lives in all our relationships.

6. Accountable DISCIPLESHIP Embracing God’s call to make disciples, we value accountable discipleship. We believe that every Christian should engage in a lifelong process of being discipled and discipling others.

7. Accountable DISCIPLESHIP Our lifestyle of discipleship centers on the means of grace, including Bible study, prayer, worship, fasting, and faithful stewardship of all our resources. We will engage in meaningful relationships with other Christians for the sake of discipleship, with the goal of becoming Christlike.

8. Compassionate SERVICE Patterning our life after Christ, who came not to be served, but to serve, we value compassionate service. While we acknowledge that acts of service are not the basis of our salvation, we believe that they naturally flow from the lives of those who have been transformed by God’s grace. We seek to serve both fellow Christians and those in the world, believing that acts of service can be a powerful demonstration of God’s love for and presence in our world.

9. Joyful FELLOWSHIP Believing that one of God’s gifts to His people is the new relationships that are formed within the Body of Christ, we value joyful fellowship. We commit ourselves to investing time to build relationships with one another. We believe that Christian fellowship can be both a source of strength and encouragement to Christians, and a winsome witness to unbelievers, so we will actively seek to include in our fellowship those who do not yet know Christ.

10. Persistent PRAYER Believing that prayer provides the great privilege of communicating with God, we value persistent prayer. We commit to an active life of prayer in our personal lives and in our corporate gatherings, making it the foundation of all that we do. We believe that prayer is essential to unity within the body of Christ. While we don’t see prayer as merely a means of getting what we want from God, we know that God does great things when His people pray, so we commit to pray expectantly for God to bring salvation and wholeness into our world.

11. VISION STATEMENT We envision an intergenerational and multicultural church that is both vibrant and dynamic with an atmosphere that opens people’s lives to the grace of God through life-filled worship, discipleship and fellowship.

12. VISION STATEMENT We visualize a community eager to serve others locally in our city and state, as well as nationally and globally, to innovatively reach the lost.

13. VISION STATEMENT We see a church whose unconditional prayer and worship then inspires people to live lives that glorify God, creatively serve others through holistic ministries and intentionally seek out ways to engage the world.
