4. Quick Facts About the Internship When: Your internship is the final requirement that must be completed before graduation. All coursework for the RHS major and any minors must be completed before scheduling your internship In your final semester. Length: Fall and Spring internships require 600 hours (15 weeks) Summer internships require 520 hours (13 weeks) Location: Students can complete their internship inside or outside of Pennsylvania. Students are encouraged to find the best site for them in terms of location and services provided. 5. Finding an Internship Site Personal Interests* Your internship should take place in an RHS agency/ facility that matches your area of interest and future career goals. Select an internship consistent with your minors and/or special interest areas. Internship Database Students should identify several possible internship sites before making their final selection.
