Life Cycle Assessment There are four major stages in the LCA of a motor vehicle: (i) Development: assessment of materials and semi- finished product manufacturing chains (ii) Production: assessment of components and complete vehicles (iii) Use: assessment of fuel/electricity (including production) (iv) Recycle: assessment of process chains of valuable materials

Life Cycle Assessment While doing the life cycle analysis we looked at : 1.Development: Use of a steel body compared to aluminum since its more easily recycled and emitted less CO 2, use of hydrogen fuel cells (expensive but more environmental friendly) 2.Cost: The technology as has been discussed in the previous slides came about to a total of $1487. 3.Recycling: recycling steel is almost 74% more efficient as compared to aluminum. The use of the technology will be powered using hydrogen fuel cells which are more environmental and recycle friendly as compared to 4.Durability: Both eye tracking and voice recognition last a really long time making them reliable as well as economical 5.Redundancy: The use of a hybrid of eye tracking, voice recognition and buttons using hydrogen fuel cells, this amalgamation is in fact pretty new, and will take a while before it is deemed as redundant. In addition, software updates would also be made available for the customer to make.
