3. A couple of years ago, the teachers decided that we needed to make some changes to the curriculum (the lessons children are taught). We looked at what worked well (enablers) and what stopped learning from happening (blockers). We wanted to make it: Relevant Address issues we had identified Green Lane Primary’s Curriculum

The Green list What other specific areas do we want to cover to individualise the curriculum for our children’s needs?  Awareness of other cultures – Pakistani, Bangladeshi – differences, British, E. European, African, Caribbean etc.  Caring for each other  Better working relationships between boys and girls  Speaking appropriately in different situations – assemblies, full sentences, when adults ask a question, greetings.  Using local area more & local people – interviews, art etc.  Responsibility – for each other, jobs, speaking up for others, looking after property that isn’t my own.
