1 The Oncofertility Consortium At Northwestern University Current status and future directions Oncofertility Consortium The Oncofertility Consortium® addresses the complex health care and quality-of-life issues that concern young cancer patients whose fertility may be threatened by their diagnosis and treatment. The Consortium represents a nationwide, interdisciplinary, and interprofessional network of medical specialists, scientists, and scholars who are exploring the relationship between health, disease, survivorship and fertility preservation in young cancer patients. Their work and its findings may also extend to patients who have been diagnosed with other serious diseases and must undergo fertility-threatening treatments.  NIH Roadmap Grant received  Oncofertility website launched  Oncofertility book published  OTC protocols open # OTC patients: 2 Mean Age: 32.5 years 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015  Virtual Grand Rounds (VGRs) begin  Full time Patient Navigator hired  MyOncofertility website launched  National FERTline (866)708-FERT launched  Oncofertility: Ethical, Legal, Social & Medical Perspectives book published # OTC patients: 19 Mean Age: 27.3 years  iSaveFertility iPhone app developed  SaveMyFertility microsite launched  Oncofertility Medical Practice book published  Global Partners join Oncofertility Consortium  NIH SCIPPR U54 Grant received  NPC relocates to Northwestern # OTC patients: 34 Mean Age: 16 years  Oncofertility Communication published  NPC expands to non-REIs  Current OTC numbers: # Patients: 204 Mean age: 21 years The National Physicians Cooperative (NPC) is a nationwide network of centers dedicated to preserving the fertility of their patients.
