8 Design/Analysis/Simulation  MARS 15 Monte-Carlo code to obtain energy deposition values in target/window for particular beam parameters.  Thermal and structural analysis performed in ANSYS -Temperature dependent material properties -Analysis of elastic and plastic material response  Normal stress at Be window edge  Future simulations will use the LS-DYNA software to model fracture/failure  Further validation with in beam experiments 4/3/13PASI 2013 WG1 FNAL Capabilities 8
