Polish people celebrate Christmas when the first star appears in the sky on Christmas Eve which is called "Festival of the Star". 5. The polish feast What a feast it is! Their Christmas dinner is soup, fish, honey and noodles with poppy seeds, dumplings with sauerkraut and mushrooms. For dessert they have cakes, fruit and nuts. At midnight they are summoned to the church by the bells. Most of the Polish people like to go to Pasterka or "The Shepherd's Mass". A Chinese Christmas 中國聖誕節阿 China 中國 Christians in China celebrate by lighting their houses with beautiful paper lanterns and decorating their Christmas trees, which they call "Trees of Light," with paper chains, paper flowers, and paper lanterns. Chinese Children hang muslin stockings and await a visit from Santa Claus, whom they call Dun Che Lao Ren (dwyn-chuh-lau-oh-run) which means "Christmas Old Man.".

7. In Hong Kong, the figure who visits children is known as Lan Khoong or Dun Che Lao Ren. Which is father christmas There are church services given in Chinese as well as English. Children send Christmas cards depicting the Holy Family in a Chinese setting. Public areas are decorated with Nativities, poinsettias, streamers, and paper chains.

8. A boy goes up to a Christmas tree made of 4,500 cans of preserved food, on show at the Hong Kong International Christmas Fair, on Saturday, Nov. 26 2005. The tree was built over four days by 10 people and organizers said it's the first of its kind in Asia.

11. A Traditional English Christmas Dinner The Christmas Dinner is the main Christmas meal and it is usually eaten at mid-day or early afternoon. A traditional Christmas dinner includes roast turkey, brussels sprouts, roast potatoes, cranberry sauce, rich nutty stuffing, tiny sausages wrapped in bacon and lashings of hot gravy. For pudding (dessert) there's always a rich, fruity pudding which you douse in flaming brandy – said to ward off evil spirits.
