Focus of book: “He’s just not the right guy for you!” › Has had enough with “He’s just not that into you” Classifies women and men into categories › Helps you identify what type of relationship you’ve had and what you’re looking for Baking a cake is like building a relationship › All ingredients must go into the correct order Most important ingredient = self confidence!

Different strategies for women to build themselves › If women advance in their education or their career, their relationship will flourish due to their increase in self-confidence According to the US Census (2000), people acquiring high school diplomas and bachelor’s degrees has risen steadily from 1940-2000. › Increase in education levels = increase self- confidence = successful relationship

In the article Leap of Faith, Valerie Burton( 2007), communicates that it is very important to believe in oneself in order to be self confident. You have to face your fears and go for anything that you want “In fact, the more we want something, the more paralyzed we become”

It is to self test your confidence level now Some of the statements are: › Fear does not stop me from asking for what I want › I haven’t settled for less than what I really want in my life › Check off what you are I love myself because…….. List what you love about yourself, this is a great way to build self confidence according to Lo.

Study on reflective writing and the work- force. Daniel - started out with great socio- economic deficit and low self-esteem Cultivated a positive self-concept through journaling and reflecting on his experiences in his training program (Langer 2009).

Effective for both men and women DO NOT FEAR YOUR OWN THOUGHTS! GET WRITING! Proves to be affective and to enhance your work performance and self-esteem by recognizing your strengths and weaknesses alike (Langer 2009). Writing = higher self-esteem = better job performance = healthy relationships !
