6.  The Aryans brought the Hindu religion.  The Mongols brought the religion of Islam  The British brought roads, railways, democracy and the English language.

7.  Eighty percent of India’s population practice Hinduism.  Ten percent of India’s population practices Islam.  Other religions, such as Buddhism and Christianity are practiced by smaller groups in India.
