What do you do and how often do you do it? Attend Trainings Read Ask Questions & Contribute Ideas Attend Meetings Challenge and Support Link with a Class Teacher Visit the School

Time Commitments This role requires you to volunteer 10-20 days per academic year. This includes, but is not limited to: 1 class visit per term 1 Full Governing Body Meeting per term 1 Committee meeting per term

Additional Requirements for New Governors Training In order to best support Raddlebarn, we will ask you to attend a full day Induction offered through Birmingham Local Authority, School and Governor Support. Meeting with Chair

What do I do next? You will need to submit a 250 word statement outlining why you have the appropriate skills and attributes to be a Parent Governor at Raddlebarn. Your nomination will then be accepted and your statement will be published for parents to review and vote. One week after the election, you will be notified as to whether or not you have been elected.
