7.  Daily Warm-ups (Can write these in your planner)  Classwork: Stuff we do in class  Homework: What you don’t finish/any workbook/project work  Binder Logs/Checks (End of Chapter/Unit)  Quizzes/Tests (will be announced)  Projects: Science Fair (Fall)/Science Career (Spring)

8.  Keep a 3-ring binder for your work.  Have a section for current binder log and binder material.  Have a section for graded work.  Keep items in chronological order.  Will clear out every quarter.  You will see the binder log every day on the screen and website so you can keep track of what to keep and what to turn in!

9.  Learn the difference! --------------------------------------  Late work 50% deduct until end of chapter/unit.  100% deduct after unit. --------------------------------------  Make-up work must be done in a timely manner!  One-day absent, one-day make-up rule (length of absence).  Excused absences/field trips/shadow days/etc. (See Class Policies) Attendance means something! Those who attend and participate every day tend to do well in class!!

12.  I use the point system.  The number correct out of your total points and get a percent  For example, if you score 80/100 = 0.80 or 80%  Extra credit will be 1% of overall grade.

13.  Turn in boxes (blue boxes)  Make sure your name is on your paper!!  Graded work in black trays.  Zangle updated weekly (Most recent on Mondays).
