… A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:7—9

The Joshua Generation Joshua 24:14-15 [14] “Now fear the LORD and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your forefathers worshiped beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD. [15] But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD. ”

[Judges 2:6-7] What marks out this generation? They never drove out [the enemy] completely. [Judges 1:19-35]

[11] Then the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the LORD… [12] They forsook the LORD, the God of their fathers, … They followed and worshiped various gods of the peoples around them. [Joshua 2: 8-13]
