3 First Step in the Team Process Share curriculum/standards/teaching style As a team, share in “round-robin” fashion, things about each others’ teaching styles. The curriculum each hopes to cover during the second semester. The standards each area is held to by the district and by the state.

4 Second Step in the Team Process Develop an over-arching question & sub- questions. Brainstorm ideas. Through consensus, select one broad idea Brainstorm sub-questions Discuss how some of the sub-questions fit for certain areas or grade-levels.

5 Third Step in the Team Process Select a sub-question(s) As a group, decide which teachers will be a best fit for which sub-questions Brainstorm what resources you have in your Teacher Bag already

6 Fourth Step in the Team Process Plan for the Classroom: Put together a package for the classroom. This package would probably include a plan to:  Brainstorm content  Conduct research  Outline content  Draw flowcharts  Create storyboards, scripts, etc.  Determine appropriate media formats  Transfer storyboard into media elements  Analyze effectiveness of project  Evaluate students  Conduct self-evaluation

7 Fifth Step in the Team Process Build the Main Story: Revisit the overarching question Bring all the pieces from the individual teachers or teacher groups to the table Start process of planning the story:  Brainstorm content  Conduct research  Outline content  Draw flowcharts  Create storyboards, scripts, etc.  Determine appropriate media formats  Transfer storyboard into media elements  Analyze effectiveness of project  Evaluate students  Conduct self-evaluation

8 Sixth Step in the Team Process Production Convey your story in multimedia format Author program Produce graphics Create animations Debug the program

9 Seventh Step in the Team Process Presentation and Product: Work out logistics of when, where, who Practice for your audience Assess the overall effectiveness of:  The Product – finished and polished  The Content – the information contained in the product  The Process
