How do you create an Agency Relationship? An agency relationship is created when the Principal =(Owner) authorizes another person to act on his or her behalf. It is nearly always agreed to in writing by signing a Management Contract which creates the Agency relationship between the 2 parties. Usually an Owner and a Management Company. Or an Owner and an On-site Manager.
