Feudalism (fyood’l-izem)
A political and economic system of Europe from the 9th to about the 15th century, based on the holding of all land in fief or fee and the resulting relation of lord to vassal and characterized by homage, legal and military service of tenants, and forfeiture ???????????????????????????????????????

Vassal (VA-sel) is one who enters into mutual obligations with a monarch, usually of military support and mutual protection, in exchange for certain guarantees, which came to include the terrain held as a fief.

Manorialism (MA-nor-ee-al-izm)
The definition of manorialism is the system by which the Lord of the Manor exploited the serfs or tenants who worked his estate, or fief. Manorialism extended the concept of the feudal fief, or fiefdom, as a principal land owner, or lord of a Manor. The Manor House was the main dwelling on the Lord of the Manor's estate
