2 The Basics You need 120 credits for the full academic year. Single Honours: You can take any number of history modules from two (40 credits) to six (120 credits). Dual degree students: Also a minimum of two History module (40 credits); you can take more depending on what you’re doing in the other half of your degree. Aim for a split of 60 credits in Semester 1 and 60 credits in Semester 2.
