6. PRIORITIES OUT OF BALANCE WHAT HAPPENS?

7. PROPER PRIORITIES A just weight and balance are the Lord's: all the weights of the bag are his work. Proverbs 16:11

8. WHERE CAN WE FIND THE RIGHT BALANCE ?

9. FALSE BALANCE Divers weights are an abomination unto the Lord; And a false balance is not good. Proverbs 20:23

10. HORSE AND CART The key is not to prioritize what’s on your schedule, but to schedule your priorities.

11. WHAT IS OUT OF BALANCE ?

12. EXAMPLE – MAN OR WOMAN OF GOD Elders … If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly. For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not self-willed, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre; Titus 1:5-7

13. WHAT IS OUR LIFE MADE OF? And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consists not in the abundance of the things which he possesses. Luke 12:15

14. WHAT THEN? The invisible things of : 1.Love of God 2.Love of others 3.Love of self – Self-Esteem (Purpose) 4.Stewardship – Talents, Gifts, Possessions

15. PUT FIRST THINGS FIRST The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing.

16. KEY – PROPER BALANCE You have to decide what your highest priorities are and have the courage—pleasantly, unapologetically, to say “no” to other things.

17. CHANGE THE DIRECTION OF YOUR LIFE. The key is not to prioritize what’s on your schedule, but to schedule your priorities.

18. URGENT VS. IMPORTANT Too much time on what is urgent And Not enough time on what is important.

19. KEEP THE MAIN THING THE MAIN THING And the way you do that is by having a bigger “yes” burning inside. The enemy of the “best” is often the “good.”
