AL, AS & CE Ratio (1) 院校高考 (AL+AS) ︰會考 (CE) 高考 (AL) ：高補 (AS) 香港大學 大部分課程以高考成績為主。考慮會考成 績的課程，會考比重約 10%-30% 不等 1 : 0.5 （ AS 通識佔 0.6 ） 香港中文大學 約 70% 課程／專修範圍的高考與會考比例 為 2:1 ，約 20% 的比例為 1:1 及約 10% 的 比例為 3:1 。 1 : 0.5 額外科目會有加分 香港科技大學 各學系有所不同，但都以高考成績為主， 其中商科的會考比重約為 40% ，理科 則約 10-20% ；工科會參考會考成績來 決定面試名單。 1 : 0.5 或 0.6 香港教育學院主要考慮高考及面試表現。 1 : 0.5

JUPAS Sub-system for School Principal’s Nominations (Deadline: 15 Nov, Mon) 3 students will be nominated each year Students who have contributed to social services or made outstanding achievements in non-academic areas, or who have demonstrated leadership abilities will be considered Nominees will be considered by the institutions concerned for your Band A choices: – Make conditional offers (HKALE) – Give bonus points to you to improve your chance of admission – Give no special consideration to your nomination

Sub-Degree Programmes for S7 Graduates Associate Degree (AD)/ Higher Diploma (HD) Two-year course: – normally takes F7 graduates – requires one A Level or two AS Level subjects in general Further Studies: – may study Year 3 of a 4-year university degree in the N. American model; OR – Year 2 of a 3-year university degree in the British model

16. AD vs HD Associate Degree (AD) – Put more emphasis on general education (at least 60%) Higher Diploma (HD) – Focus more on vocation training (at least 60%)

17. AD/ HD Further Information Fee: Around $40,500 - $72,000 (1 st year) Entry requirement (in general): – Pass in 1 AL OR 2 AS; – Pass in 5 CE subjects, including Chinese & English Language
