If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.

Those who may pressure you Friends & Coworkers Some ideas they have are against God and your parents. Do not be deceived:" Evil company corrupts good habits.“ 1 Corinthians 15:33

Those who may pressure you Friends & Coworkers Drinking (Proverbs 20:1) Gambling (Titus 1:7) Stealing (1 Corinthians 6:10) Disobeying Parents (Ephesians 6:1-2)

Those who may pressure you Friends & Coworkers Those who pressure you to do these types of things pressure you to sin The righteous should choose his friends carefully, For the way of the wicked leads them astray. (Proverbs 12:26)

Those who may pressure you Family Traditions; even in a family – can be dangerous He answered and said to them, " Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition? For God commanded, saying, " Honor your father and your mother '; and, 'He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death. '

Those who may pressure you Family Traditions; even in a family – can be dangerous But you say, " Whoever says to his father or mother, ' Whatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to God"— then he need not honor his father or mother. ' Thus you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition. (Matthew 15:3-6)

Those who may pressure you Those whom you may be dating or date in the future Fornication Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge. (Hebrews 13:4)

Those who may pressure you Those whom you may be dating or date in the future Fornication Love; something that is used in various forms when young; often times incorrectly. The best place to find a future mate is within the Lord’s church.

Pressure from the Media The media’s influence Embrace everyone (regardless of their life of sin) Embrace every way of life Reject any idea that God exists.

Pressure from the Media The media is a hypocrite. It encourages the world to live as they like, but then blasts those who strive to live godly. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (Romans 12:2)

Genesis 4:7 Genesis 4:7b sin is what Satan tempts us with, he pressures us with it. We are pressured to: fit in, to have fun, enjoy life, to think you know more than your parents, that you don’t need to follow that dusty Bible.

Genesis 4:7 Genesis 4:7c Just like God told Cain in the beginning, the temptation to sin can be overcome.

You can close the door to Satan’s pressures!

Do you recognize that the pressures you face; may be pressure to sin. Can you stand up to the pressures to sin? Are you willing to say no to the pressures to sin? If you aren’t willing to say no to the pressures of sin, then the battle is already over for you.
