Who we serve Marginalized, often homeless youth Up to 29-years-old (predominately 16 –25) Lack of life experience/skills Very little (if any) job experience or rental history Often victims of exploitation Living with mental health and/or addiction issues The “Squegee” Kid

Who we are Full service resource centre at 125 Sherbrook St. – West Broadway Programs and services based off the emerging and long-term needs of today’s youth 20+ full-time staff from a variety of backgrounds Harm reduction, youth centric approach with all interactions with youth Kitchen, laundry and showers, Nurse Practitioner’s office clothing/food/hygiene bank

Programs and Services Basic Needs: Clothing, laundry, showers, hygiene, food Drop-In: Safe oasis from the street Mental Health: Pre, during and after-support for youth living with mental health Addictions: Pre, during and after-support for youth living with addictions Street Outreach: Bringing resources to individuals on the street, where they are at Pre-Employment Training: Real-world job experience, IDs (SIN, MB Health), Resumes Kitchen Program: Daily hot meals, kitchen training program Life Skills: Workshops, outing, guest speakers

Housing Assist youth with finding AND maintaining safe, adequate and affordable housing Very low vacancy rate in Winnipeg– lower for affordable housing RaY Emergency Shelter and Transition (REST): 13 units through MB housing Bed Bug prevention Advocacy
