What’s a good site to use? pbworks is a free, easy to use site. It takes 60 seconds to create and no knowledge of html is necessary; you and your class can start using it in less than 5 minutes! To get started, go to: pbworks.com
5
Who controls the content? Whoever had permission to edit it. The site creator controls this. As the administrator, an email will be sent to you when changes are made indicating who made the changes so you can check the content and make changes, if necessary. Wikis can be private or public, depending on your settings.
6
Can I attach files, pictures or video clips? Absolutely!
7
Is my data safe? Yes. Data is backed up hourly by pbworks. Different versions of pages are saved so you can revert to an earlier version if necessary. It’s a great opportunity to practice student netiquette!
