Sign In Navigation Basics: Email Address will be used by emailer Password case sensitive don’t hit enter Become a member a must for Commissioners If you do not create a MyCouncil Account, you will receive roster group emails, but you will not be able to use any of the tools or enter Commissioner Posts.

Entering Posts To enter a Commissioner Post: You must log in. Go to the Unit. using quick link find using Units search use District>Units> Go to Commissioner display. [Add Post] If you don’t see [Add Post] you either forgot to log in, or you are not authorized to post on this unit. (See Commissioner Roster)

Editing Posts Post Type: Comment -or- Post Type: Commissioner Visit Visit Type : Individual Meeting Unit Meeting Unit Activity Committee Meeting Other Date: Calendar or Type it in Flag: Red, Yellow or None Click on tab to add Comments Some formatting is possible. Spellchecker available. HTML view is possible (but not recommended) Help currently doesn’t work

Add a Comment District Commissioners and Asst. District Commissioners can add a Comment to a Unit Commissioner post by clicking on the Add a Comment link. You can add another comment to your own post, or you can edit your original post. You can also delete a post you have entered. Unit Leaders will NOT see these posts.

Unit Assignments The Commissioner’s view of Unit Assignments allows the Council Commissioner to see who is assigned to which units within a selected District. This view can also Sort the list by Commissioner Name, City or Unit Type/#. Unit Assignments will not be visible unless you are listed on the Staff Roster.

Unit Pages Commissioners Links Clicking on a Unit takes you to that Unit Home Page. Clicking on a Commissioner takes you to the Commissioner Staff record, and a list of units assigned to that Commissioner.

Assigning Units The District view of the Unit Assignments includes the Flags. This view can also Sort the list by Commissioner Name, City or Unit Type/#. To change a Unit Commissioner assignment, click on the pencil in the far right column. Click on bullet, and save.

Tools & Utilities Tools and Utilities The Commissioner’s Tools includes a group emailer. It will send an email to any person in the Roster with an email address – whether they have a MyCouncil account or not. (They must have email through an email service provider to receive emails.)

Emailer Send a Group Email You must have a MyCouncil account in order to access this tool and send these emails. Type in your Subject and message text, and send.

Unit Pages Unit Home Pages Helps for Unit Home Pages are available from the Units link in the green bar. The most important set-up step is to get your Unit Leader to create a MyCouncil account and accept responsibility for your unit page content. Cubmaster Scoutmaster Advisor Or call Janet at the Council Service Center to appoint a surrogate.
