11. E.U SHARE OF ENERGY FROM RE SOURCES IN GROSS FINAL CONSUMPTION Biomass sector will be called to contribute most. Wind energy should become the main source of renewable energy. Hydropower will follow and the other sectors will make significant contribution such as solar power and solar thermal. All in all renewably sourced final energy consumption should rise to 245.9 Mtoe in 2020 with interim targets of 182 Mtoe in 2015.
