12. Review class and school standards with your student and reinforce them at home. Know where your student is at all times and know their friends. Homework is a High School expectation. Your Child should have 20-30 minutes of homework per class per night. Question excuses that just don’t make sense. PARENTS: BE AWARE

13. A “second chance” on tests or other assignments (not guaranteed) Make sure make-up work is completed and turned in (do it even if it’s late!) Call and email teachers with questions and concerns Be aware of the add/drop timelines for course placement (15 days after the start of each semester) Attend school every day! –Do not schedule vacations in the middle of the year –No More Than 10!
