TRANSITION Because I researched “Should Teachers Jobs Be Cut In Order to Balance the National Deficit.” I decided to do a Teacher Appreciation Breakfast to show appreciation for all the teachers, and everything they do for us.

PRODUCT For my product I chose to do a Teacher Appreciation Breakfast. Got together with Mr. Sabrizzi as he helped me decide what to get. Called up a couple businesses (Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Bj’s, and Krispy Kreme) Didn’t get responses from them.

PRODUCT Kept Calling until Dunkin Donuts and Lowes Foods agreed to help. In order to get food I had to write and give them a letter head. Got a conformation from Mrs.Andino and had the date set.

PRODUCT Went to dollar tree pick up utensils, plates and napkins. I also went to Kroger Had received food from Lowes Food The morning of the breakfast I received 15 boxes of donuts and 6 boxes of muffins from Dunkin Donuts I think the teachers really appreciated being appreciated for all their work.

MENTOR My Mentor was Jack Sabrizzi. He was a Former Teacher At Clayton Middle and Clayton High School. He helped give me an insight on exactly what teachers go through. Helped me pick out and decide what to get for my breakfast.

CHALLENGES AND SUCCESSES Challenges Getting responses from businesses for donations. Being able to meet up with my mentor. Trying to get enough food teachers. Successes -Getting a lot of food from Dunkin Donuts. -Breakfast went extremely well, had plenty of food. -Managed to get all more hours than needed. -Lots of pictures. -Teachers got to have a free breakfast.

WHAT I LEARNED While doing this project I learned how to appreciate teachers more. I learned how to plan and host an event. I learned what a letter head is and how you use it to get donations. If I Were To Do It Again I would’ve started earlier. Get different kinds of food.

Do you have any questions? THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.
