2 Brief Overview of the Coalition Initially formed in late 1997s as a means to address non-attainment issues in the Capital Region Formed Public-Private partnership with funding from Louisiana Department of Natural Resources and began working on official designation by Department of Energy 2000 Officially designated by Department of Energy 2003 Obtained federal funding for a downtown Baton Rouge projects that would include 5 CNG trolleys 2003 Celebrated the opening of the BR Metro Airport’s first CNG station and the parish's fourth CNG station 2003 2006 Obtained funding from DOE to support the Coalition

3 Overview Continued 2005 Wrote proposal for St Charles Parish School District to pay for cost of biodiesel (grant was awarded) 2006 Using St Charles Parish as an example, Caddo Parish Schools obtained EPA funding for using biodiesel in their 400+ bus fleet Held Workshop Series in 2006 focusing on biofuels, hybrid electric vehicles and fuel economy and HD NGV options Coalition “Officially” became part of the City of Baton Rouge/Parish of East Baton Rouge Infrastructure Planning Division in the Department of Public Works in early 2007 Attended Earth Day Festival yearly since 2003

4 Attended Super Science Saturday since 2003 Assisted the City in their purchase of 4 CNG Honda Civic GXs and a GM pick up truck. Work is being done currently to expand our CNG infrastructure an purchasing more CNG vehicles Hosted Incentives Workshop in fall of 2007 Attended “Energy Independence Days” in 2007 - 2008 to speak with the Legislative delegation regarding supporting funding for Clean Cities on a national level and specifically hot to grow the program in the State. Currently planning the grand opening for Sullivan Oil’s E85 station with B-Quick following suit and putting in E85 infrastructure across Baton Rouge. Overview Continued

5 Working with the City of Denham Springs to install a CNG trolley that would run from Bass Pro to the antiques district and beyond. They are currently evaluating their fleet to make some decisions about long term options for their entire fleet. y and HD NGV options Attended “Energy Independence Days” in 2007 - 2008 to speak with the Legislative delegation regarding supporting funding for Clean Cities on a national level and specifically hot to grow the program in the State.
