8 7. What does Islam, Judaism, and Christianity have in common?
They are monotheist (believe in on God) Trace their origins to Abraham Their scriptures include Adam, Noah, and Moses

The Qur’an The Sunnah

In Arabic By practicing the 5 pillars of faith

11 10. What is a Hadith? Collections that provide written evidence of Muhammad’s Sunnah (practice) through his own words and deeds

Shahadah = the declaration of faith They must worship one God – called Allah Accept that Muhammad is the messenger of God

Salat = daily ritual prayer They pray 5 times a day They pray in the direction of the Kiblah

14 13. What is a mosque? It is Muslim house of worship

15 14. What must Muslims do before praying?
Do a ritual washing of their hands, feet, faces , and arms
