The Swedish government has introduced a new concept, advanced skilled teachers. The government supports the school with money to pay extra salary for those teachers. To be an advanced skilled teacher you need to pass a special program. The role of the advanced skilled teachers are developing because it just started in August 2013. At our school we have three advanced skilled teachers. They are helping collegues to develop their education. They get more salary as well as time for their mission.

They are organizing so that all activities goes smoothly. If a teacher is sick, for example, they find a substitute. They are the ”spider in the net”!
