Making comparisons To compare to things in French you use the words ‘plus = more’ and ‘que = than’ Between these two words you put an adjective. For example: plus populaire que = more popular than Now try to compare the music types according to your graphs. e.g. le rap est plus populaire que le jazz

If you use jouer with a musical instrument, you need to use du or de la Use du before a masculine musical instrument: Je joue du piano. Use de la before a feminine instrument: Je joue de la guitare.
