1. Try not to use a car every day. 2. Cook at home instead of driving to get fast food. 3. Take shorter showers. 4. Plug out electronics when not in use! 5. Buy local foods. 6. Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. 7. Buy products with less packaging. 8. Keep electronics out of the trash. 9. Plant trees! They give us oxygen. 10. Buy cars that don’t use a lot of gas, or electric cars.

Most Important! I think that the most important way to go green is to try not to drive a car every day. Cars make about 36 pounds of CO2 every day so if we reduce the amount of time we spend driving it will help reduce pollution!

COMPANIES GOING GREEN! Starbucks Starbucks is going green by doing the following: Their goal is to reduce their energy by 25%. They are buying more renewable products. Starbucks are urging people to buy their $1 renewable cups to decrease the land fills around the world. I advise you to buy one of their cups after all, one is all you need! Nissan Nissan has made a huge step in reducing pollution! Nissan is now selling electric cars! Electric cars are better for the environment because, instead of spreading pollution around, they minimize it to one place. This a very big step to decreasing pollution and saving energy. I’m definitely buying one when I get a car.

MY GREEN INVENTION! My invention, the CO2X will simply help the environment. When it is placed next to a device that releases CO2, it will suck it in and then dispense clean oxygen through its artificial leaf. It is portable so you can take it anywhere!

Breathing Bad Researchers have found that inhaling air pollutants can trigger breathing problems. This topic is important to inform people how pollutants can harm your health for people of all ages. The affect of pollution on our lungs has taken place over time as pollution had gathered in certain areas. Greenland Ice Sheet Scientists believe that the ice sheet of green land is melting due to global warming, and will contribute to rising sea levels. This is important because the rise in sea level will flood our land. The cause of this are the green house gasses that cause the earth to get warmer and then melt the poles. This has been occurring over the last recent years. ARTICLES
