Apple Crisp

Ingredients 4 - Apples, peeled and sliced ¾ c. - Brown Sugar ½ c. – All-purpose flour ½ c. – Oats ¾ t. – Cinnamon 1/8 t. – Nutmeg 1/3 c. – Butter or margarine

Method of Prep 1. Preheat oven to 375ºF. 2. Peel, pare and slice apples. 3. Place the apple slices in a small (8X8) glass casserole dish. 4. In a small mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, flour, oats, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir w/fork.

5. Add butter or margarine to the dry ingredients. 6. Using a pastry blender, cut-in the butter to resemble small pebbles. 7. Sprinkle mixture over the sliced apples. 8. Bake 20 minutes or until apples are “fork tender.” 9. Serve warm over ice cream.
