BACKGROUND INFORMATION I grew up in Marin County California I attended Terra Linda High School I am also a product of Community College I attended and hold a AA Liberal Arts degree from (College of Marin) I also attended and hold a Social Science Degree From San Francisco State University I have a duel California teaching Credential ( Dominican University of California)

3. BACKGROUND INFORMATION Before coming to Hercules Middle School last year. - I taught Physical Education - Was a Recreation Director San Francisco - Coached High school track - I am also a nationally recognized referee (Football and Basketball)

5. ACADEMIC WORKSHOP CLASS The goal of this class is for students to be comfortable with how they learn. Emphasis is placed on organization Writing in planners note books Student and teacher communication Behavior/attitude management Character/ Self Esteem Targeting IEP goals.

6. ACADEMIC WORKSHOP CLASS This is Not a Study Hall The objective of this class is for student to bring in assignments that are challenging and hard to understand. It is my job to support their learning needs. Reading Social/ Behavior Writing Organization Math learning

7. CLASS ROUTINES Get classroom binders and supplies then sit at your desk Take out school planners open planners so Ms. Clark or I can stamp them ( Complete or Void ) 3. Fill in what assignment you will work on during Guided Learning 4. Be ready for class warm up or group reading activity Transition into Guided Learning work on assignments Before dismissal students will be seated and have their participation card stamped (Complete or Void)

8. CLASS PARTICIPATION Warm up (15-20 min) The philosophy of doing the warm up is to mentally prepare the students for class. The warm up to every class will focus on reading, writing, organization, critical thinking and character building. - Guided Learning Time (30-35min) This class is to help and provide support to students who need assistance with their academic classes. During guided learning, students can bring in work from their core classes that they may have a question or may need further explanation.
