October 2014 | 12 Who can Vote? ● A Canadian citizen ● At least 18 years of age ● A resident of the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville, OR a non-resident owner or tenant of land in the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville or their spouse ● Not legally prohibited from voting In order to vote you must meet all of the requirements listed below:

October 2014 | 14 Voter Identification Supporting identification that shows your name and address *If your name is on the voters list and you don’t have identification, you can fill out and sign a declaration at the voting location so that you can vote. If your name is not on the voters list you can still be added at the voting location. You will be required to provide identification at that time. ● An Ontario driver’s licence ● An Ontario Health Card (only if it has your name and address) ● A mortgage, lease or rental agreement ● An insurance policy ● A credit card statement ● A bill for hydro, water, gas, telephone or cable TV

Arrive at your designated voting location 1.Show your voter notification card to the election staff 2.Show your identification to the election staff 3.Election staff will check if you are on the voters list Election staff will give you a ballot and instructions on how to fill it out
