As the hymn “Why Not Now?” suggests, the lost can be moved to obeying the gospel if they see their soul’s deep need. The lost need to make their own decision. They need to see that their souls are in need of salvation, of peace, and of forgiveness that only Jesus can provide. Why not come to Jesus now? …

It is right for others to be concerned about you soul. (Psalm 142:4; Romans 10:1; James 5:20) The Father is calling you through the gospel (2 Thessalonians 2:14) But it is YOUR decision. While we pray and while we plead, While you see your soul’s deep need, While our Father calls you home, Will you not, my brother (dear sinner), come?

Your soul is valuable (Matthew 16:26) Your soul is lost without God (Isaiah 53:6) It is risky to delay – the future is uncertain (James 4:14) Accept God’s grace TODAY (Hebrews 3:15) You have wandered far away; Do not risk another day; Do not turn from God your face, But today accept His grace

Your Soul’s Deep Need Your soul needs peace & comfort
The world leads us away from eternal life and peace with God. (1 John 2:15) Jesus wants us to believe on Him so that we might have life and peace. (John 8:24; 11:25-26) By coming to Him, you can find peace with yourself, with life and death, and with God. (Colossians 1:19-21; 3:15) In the world you’ve failed to find Aught of peace for troubled mind; Come to Christ, on Him believe, Peace and joy you shall receive

Salvation depends on belief and confession. (Romans 10:9-10) Those who come to Christ must see their need for pardon. (Psalm 38:18; Ephesians 1:7; Matt. 9:2) If you trust God, He will keep you all the way (1 Peter 1:3-5) Come to Christ, confession make; Come to Christ, and pardon take; Trust in Him from day to day, He will keep you all the way
