2. 2 Executive Summary  Aspire Schools: Vincent Shalvey Academy, River Oaks Charter School, and Benjamin Holt College Preparatory Academy had a range of API scores from 886 – 927 in 2010.  University Public School was renamed Aspire Vincent Shalvey Academy in honor of Don Shalvey’s father, Vincent, a parent who sacrificed so his child could go to college.  Schools continue to focus on building increasing rigor through attention to academic discourse, rigorous lesson planning, and higher order questioning.  Parent and teacher satisfaction remain very high.  Aspire continues to value the partnership with Lodi Unified School District!

4. Family Satisfaction Annual Survey Results: “What grade would you give your school?” Over 80% of families answered “A” or “B” to the survey question Family satisfaction continues to be high compared to the national average of 70%
