Restrictions - Volt Before laptops were around, Volt made sure nothing left the office, such as floppy disks or CDs. With laptops being in the business world now, Volt had to make certain restrictions and requirements for software on the laptops so employees can access the VPN client. Restrictions –Software & Theft Laptops are much easier to get stolen than a PC. Can be very dangerous when working with private information. The growth of laptops has led companies to not allow certain software such as GoToMyPC.
