MSHSL Eligibility Have not or will not compete in non-school events in my sport after reporting for the school team Transfer Students – See Coach Lindgren Have not or will not use or possess tobacco, alcoholic beverages or any other controlled substance Will not participate in hazing and/or harassment ◦Watch out for bullying and stand up to bullying **Is fully enrolled in school (MSHSL Bylaw 104.0)** (paid deposit and set up a payment plan)

Eligibility Eligibility Attendance ◦ A student must be in school by 11:00AM and stay through the rest of the school day to be able to participate in practice or game. ◦ Exceptions -- pre-arranged medical appointment (be sure to call ahead), family emergency ◦ Examples that are not acceptable excuses Haircuts Sleeping in during the morning and then come to school Get out early because you forgot practice/game gear and/or need to get food before leaving ◦ Unexcused absence or truancy from school or class during the season will result in the suspension for one contest

Eligibility Eligibility Academic Eligibility ◦GPA = 1.67 or better & ◦Passing every class ◦Mid Term (If failed to meet expectations above) Morning Study Table for 2 weeks Student remains eligible Report to Media Center Tue & Thur. morning at 7:05am After 2 weeks if grades are not up, student will be ineligible to participate in games for 2 weeks Student must get re-instatement form signed off by Mrs. Budish and handed in to coach to be eligible to participate in contests

Eligibility Cont. ◦Quarter Grade Students must sit out 2 weeks of games *Students responsibility -Get signed off by teacher/Mrs. Budish ◦If at any point a student’s progress toward timely graduation with his/her most appropriate grade level is not occurring, the Principal and AD can declare the student ineligible

FORMS Physical: MUST have a current physical on file in the high school office -- every 3 years MSHSL Form ◦If you have signed a form in the past you do not need one

Uniform Policy Uniforms play an important role in displaying our school. We want to instill more pride from our parents, students, athletes, and coaches when taking care of our uniforms. There will be 2 official athletic department hand in dates per season If both dates are missed the athlete must turn in the uniform to the HEAD COACH ONLY within 2 weeks of the last official turn in date If not turned in within the 2 weeks the athlete will be charged for replacing the uniform The athletic department is no longer accepting uniforms
