OLED Association Activities Held 1 st Annual OLED Workshop in Seoul, Korea Updated databases on: Displays, Lighting, Fabs Went to Washington, D.C. to lobby Purpose: Ensure funding for the OLED SSL is continued and hopefully expanded Visited Assistant Secretary of DOE, Office of Management & Budget, Energy Subcommittees in the House and Senate ParticipantsAcuity Brands, EMD Chemicals, Moser Baer Lighting, NGLIA, OLEDWorks, Royal Philips Electronics, PPG Industries, Trovato Manufacturing, Universal Display, OLED Association Participated in the preparation of white paper on the future of OLED lighting for the DOE to answer question; “What could OLED industry do with more DOE help” 3

Follow-up DOE looking for a more formal group to represent the OLED industry Could use OLED Association as a vehicle to bring the industry together Allow the OLED Association to maintain existing functions but add additional tasks Start with the US industry, tasks include Create initial group of companies with Adhoc members as the core group Communicate concept to ~ 30 companies meeting in Rochester scheduled for Oct.1 by DOE Visit with Dr. Danielson to encourage new funding Get DOE endorsement Benefits Advance cost reduction solutions for OLEDs Advance the mass production of OLED lighting Extend to a worldwide OLED lighting entity Copyright © 2013 OLED-A · All Worldwide Rights Reserved · Confidential 5
