4 Aims of Veterinary Services To develop a first class disease surveillance programme in line with the UK strategy and thereby inform and advise government on animal health and welfare policy. To be a key player in the delivery of animal health and welfare and the protection of public health by the provision of quality services which are highly valued by veterinary practitioners and their clients.
