Music is an art form whose medium is sound. Common elements of music are pitch which governs melody and harmony, rhythm and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation, dynamics and the sonic qualities of timbreand texture. With 20th century music, there was a vast increase in music listening as the radio gained popularity and phonographs were used to replay and distribute music. The focus of art music was characterized by exploration of new rhythms, styles, and sounds. Arnold Schoenberg, and John Cage were all influential composers in 20th century art music. The invention of sound recording and the ability to edit music gave rise to new sub-genre of classical music, including the main.

Music is everywhere around us. It is something We can all relate to. All different kinds of cultures Have music. There are lots of different beats and Rhythms to make a song. There are lots to match your Mood, or to entertain you. The Question key: What can we all relate to? In our every day life, what do we hear a lot? What do all cultures have in common? What evolves but stays the same way in entertainment? What do movies and TV programs have in common? Answer: MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Music can effect the brain because it influences People. In good and bad ways. It can link to all the Emotional, spiritual and physical ways. Music Can also affect the brain by the rhythms. They Respond in your daily life, for example heartbeat,while running and walking- ETC.

Shevin- I chose music cause it keeps me in a happy mood all the time and it is something I like listen to it in my spare time so cause my family loves music and it is awesome. Dilleep- I chose music because I love music, it is probably my life, music has always been around me and my family we all love music, music rocks. Dana-I really like music and I have an interest to it I want to learn more about it I wonder why am I interested in it. It changes my mood always especially in a good mood.
