5  Purview of State Academic Senate  ACCCTEP endorsed strengthening Minimum Qualifications for Education classes ( Master’s in education, teaching OR Master’s in a recognized K-12 subject matter, OR the equivalent AND hold or have held a state approved K-12 teaching credential ) ACCCTEP encouraged individual CC TEP leaders to also endorse changes to Minimum Qualifications for Education classes

6  New CC transfer degree for Liberal Studies (Elementary Ed) Guaranteed admission to CSU

7  Participate in upcoming discussions and advocate for course descriptors for TEP courses – state Academic Senate ACCCTEP state liaison, the “lead” of the Teacher Prep Discipline Input Group

8  Work toward increasing the Title V limit on number of TEP units transferable to 4-year colleges (next legislative session)  Clearinghouse for new TEP programs  best practices, funding sources, curriculum development
