The Grace To See Well
Luke 10:1-24

There is grace to finish well.
In life. In a season of life.
In a painful relationship. In a demanding education/career.
In recovery. In financial harships. In serving God
There is grace that most people don’t see but is there because of Jesus

3. There is a grace to finish well that most people do not see
At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure. (v21)

6. There is an enemy opposing God’s good and glory in our lives
““Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.” Jesus replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.”
(v17-18)

7. Spiritual Reality of Life
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Eph 6:10-12

Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. (Mt 6:12-13)
Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith (1 Pe 5:8-9)

Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. Jas 4:6-10

““I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions [cultural symbols of evil] and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. (v19)

However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written [family inheritance language] in heaven.” (v20)

- treasure is in your school, your career, in community, in those enemies
