16. DAY 13 – Forklifts What you need for DAY 13: Only trained and authorized employees operating forklifts Properly functioning forklifts at the beginning of the shift Forklift load chart attached Forklift controls labeled and functioning Rules of the road enforced.

31. DAY 15 – Portable Tools Employees need to be trained on the proper, safe use of their tool, like wearing PPE and safe work practices.

32. DAY 15 – Portable Tools Following the tool manufacturer safety operation guidelines is the first step before pressing the switch to “on.” For example, do not remove safeguards or other safety devices.
