Participating countries: Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and the ASEAN Secretariat Geared to decision makers, Access is semi public & registered users

GFIS Asia Consultation, Kuala Lumpur, 2-4 August 2004 Linkages to GFIS Through the use of GFIS standards it is hoped that the GFIS initiative is promoted and supported within the ASEAN Member Countries and awareness. ReFOP is developing its system with the Dublin Core as meta data standard ReFOP is using XML as the Mark Up language ReFOP is eager to adopt a controlled vocabulary for metadata elements developed by GFIS, when it is available.
