Rationale Currently using paper based system –Does not allow for individuals moving across locations / organisations across Wales –Does not enable ready access to individuals records –Monitoring of local and national activity may be complex and time-consuming National system will facilitate accurate recording of all activity including training, supply and resupply for each individual

Naloxone element of Harm Reduction Database (HRD) Enables registration of individuals (one record over time) Enables instant record of: –Contact details (for annual training, batch recall, resupply following expiry) –Training records –Referral records –Additional health needs and risk –Report writing on activity –Report writing for re-contact
