2 Rationale Currently using paper based system –Does not allow for individuals moving across locations / organisations across Wales –Does not enable ready access to individuals records –Monitoring of local and national activity may be complex and time-consuming National system will facilitate accurate recording of all activity including training, supply and resupply for each individual

3 Naloxone element of Harm Reduction Database (HRD) Enables registration of individuals (one record over time) Enables instant record of: –Contact details (for annual training, batch recall, resupply following expiry) –Training records –Referral records –Additional health needs and risk –Report writing on activity –Report writing for re-contact
